History

Easley Christian School was founded in 1966 as a ministry of Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of its pastor, Dr. E. G. Robertson. Dr. Robertson, along with the membership of Faith Baptist Church, saw the need for a school with sound academic and high spiritual standards. Through much prayer, sacrifice, and planning, ECS opened its doors in August 1966.

Since that time, ECS has sought to maintain a spirit of excellence in all that it does. In its history the church and school have had five previous pastors who have sought to provide leadership for the entire ministry. From 1966 to 1973, Dr. E. G. Robertson led the school through all of its building programs. Pastor Russell Bell was here during the school year 1973-1974. Pastor Robert Coffey led from 1974 until 1985, when he resigned after suffering a stroke. Dr. Dan Reichard became pastor in 1985 and led until April 1989. Pastor Theron Stuart became pastor in September 1989 and continued until July 1998. In January 1999, Pastor Robert Reeise came to FBC and ECS and led the ministry until April 2018.

On January 1, 2018, Pastor Thomas Fuller assumed the pastorate of Faith Baptist Church and Easley Christian School. Pastor Fuller brings a heart for Christian education as well as a wealth of experience to ECS. He desires to see students grow in their walk with the Lord and excel in academic preparation for their future callings.
