Christmas Program

The annual ECS Christmas program is coming quickly.  The program will be held on Thursday, December 8th at 7pm in the auditorium of Faith Baptist Church.  All of the children in the elementary classes will be taking part in the program.  They have been working hard to get their songs ready for you to hear.  Please make plans to attend. Here are a few of the details for the program:

Clothing:   The elementary children may wear their Christmas outfits.  (Example: Christmas dress or skirts, sweater, tie, etc.)  If you are not sure what to wear anything red or green would be great.

Girls: Please make sure that your daughter’s skirt/dress reaches the knee.

Boys: The boys need to wear a collared shirt with a tie.

              PLEASE NO SCREEN PRINTED SWEATSHIRTS.

Meeting Place:  In order to get everyone in the correct order, each choir group will be meeting in the designated areas below.  Please be sure that your child is here on time.

1st – 3rd Grade Choir:  will be meeting at 6:40 pm in their

                          classrooms

4th – 6th Grade Choir:  will be meeting in the Teen Sunday school

room (across from the chapel) at 6:40 pm

I am looking forward to seeing you all at the program.  Thank you so much for your help!

A Special Thank You to Everyone

The Fall Festival was a huge success, and we want to thank you all for your outstanding contributions to make it so. Parents, thank you for contributing many items, helping with the evening activities, and supporting the festival with your attendance. Faculty and staff, thank you for your tireless work on your booths, the extra time given, and your supportive attitude to make the festival the great success that it was. And students, thank you for the help in setting up, manning booths, and taking part in the activities of the night.

The evening brought in around $6500 for the school. Last year’s total was $5000, so you can see that you did a tremendous job!

A special thanks goes to Mrs. Karen Powell and Mrs. Heidi Rose!  Mrs. Powell visited many, many businesses in the area to ask for donations for the festival. Mrs. Rose contacted places such as Disney World and Dollywood for gifts for the festival. From all of us at ECS, a heartfelt Thank You!
